Dead Island 2 on PS5 is a thrilling first-person action RPG set in a zombie-infested Los Angeles, affectionately dubbed "HELL-A." A deadly virus has spread, turning inhabitants into ravenous zombies, leading to the city's quarantine. You play as a "Slayer," bitten and infected but more than just immune, learning to harness the zombie within.
The game offers a vibrant, gore-drenched experience as you explore iconic locations from the verdant suburbs of Beverly Hills to the quirky promenade of Venice Beach. Combat is visceral and brutal, with a "FLESH" system that allows for exquisitely detailed dismemberment. You can choose from six playable characters, each with unique personalities and dialogues, and fully customize their abilities using a new skill system that allows for instant re-speccing.
Dead Island 2 features a variety of weapon types, from mundane to insane, that can be customized with mods and perks.
